Hello peeps! Jikan For Japan!

Wanna do your bit to help out the victims of the Japan earthquake/tsunami/nuclear alert? A few of us comic creators have banded together to make a four page comic short story entitled 'Jikan; The Flood' .Penned & masterminded by Mark J. Howard, you can bid for the original artwork for it (by me, Davey Candlish, Lee Bates, Owen Watts & Filip Roncone & lettered by Jim Campbell) here, & all proceeds gained go towards helping the victims of these (continuing) catastrophes. Go on , it's for a good cause, i've even thrown in the original pencils for my page.

Scrunge!!

This is a picture of 'Faceache', one of my childhood heroes from 'Buster' comic (i think) back in the old days! He could change his face (& body) into any shape, or 'scrunge' as he put it, which got him into allsorts of hi-jinks & misadventures. What do you mean you didn't get 'The Jikan Chronicles'?

Oh dear, i don't think time-travelling demon hunter Jikan is taking that news too well. You can still appease his anger by purchasing Paragon no. 7 with the entire 'Mistress Of Time' episode drawn by me & written by Mark J. Howard & splendidly lettered by Matt Brown. With two other cracking stories, available in print and as a digital download from the now Eagle Award nominated anthology comic Paragon website!

Choose Your Beastie!

Here's a couple of beasties poor old Jikan will have the pleasure of running into in the future (past? present? time-travelling is a confusing business). The first is a Gryphon/Griffin from 'Jikan's Bounty', written by Dirk Van Dom and winging (geddit?) it's way to you sometime later this year & the second can be seen in 'Mistress Of Time' written by Mark J. Howard, as of next week available in it's entirety in Paragon issue no.7 so go get it!

Yo! Just posting this pic my first go at Manga Studio inking with a Bamboo. It's a pic from Jikan: Demon of Steel & Smoke which never made it to the final cos it was late (shameful, i know!) plus Davey wanted to change the end to tie in with the other stories. More Jikan v flying beasties coming soon! (once i get a new scanner!)

Ok cool so first things first, here is some art i did for Davey Candlish's excellent small press comic anthology 'Paragon'.

It's an episode in the adventures of Jikan, a demon-battling, time-travelling Samurai. I did the art for the chapter entitled 'The Mistress Of Time' written by Mark (Shark) J. Howard &
should be appearing in Paragon No. 7 which will be available sometime soon.

This, along with all Jikan's adventures so far is already available in the form of 'The Jikan Chronicles' collection which is reviewed here
